Juniors and seniors can find helpful college planning information from the Oklahoma Regents for Higher Education .

Requesting a Recommendation Letter

Applying for college or scholarships and need a recommendation from a counselor or teacher?

  1. Complete the Letter of Recommendation Information Sheet or create an academic resume.
  2. Turn in the information sheet or resume to your counselor or teacher.
  3. Allow your counselor or teacher at least two weeks to complete the recommendation.

FAFSA Information

Seniors: Do not wait. FAFSA filing opens October 1.

How Do I Find Scholarship Opportunities?

  1. Visit the Moore Public Schools District Scholarship Site .
  2. Listen to announcements for scholarships that are only offered through the Moore High School Counseling Center.

Moore High School Specific Scholarships

Moore High School PTSA Scholarship Program

Students must be members of the Moore High School PTSA at the time of application and must be planning to attend an accredited Oklahoma vocational school, cosmetology or training institution, or business school. Students must also meet the academic requirements listed by the scholarship program.

Applications can be found in the Counseling Center in March 2023.

The deadline for all applications and recommendation letters is mid-April.
